Business Director

Mandi Chasey

Mandi Chasey has been Director of the Ogemaw County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) since March of 2012. This role is the result of a partnership between Ogemaw County EDC and Michigan Works!. Mandi has a Master’s degree in Public Administration, with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Her course work emphasized Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Organization Theory, Grant Writing, History and Ethics.

Prior to coming to the EDC, Mandi worked at Grand Valley State’s Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies. During her six year tenure she planned over 150 high-level events, including a luncheon for Former First Lady, Rosalynn Carter, Former First Lady, Betty Ford’s memorial services, and a Congressional debate.

Mandi is excited to use her talents and abilities to serve Ogemaw County helping it to grow into the future.
